Our take: This is Meta betting that open source wins on deployment, not just research. If enterprises adopt Llama Studio, the API-based model becomes one option among several, not the default.

What's new: Mistral released Codestral Ultra, a code-specialized model claiming 95% of Copilot's capability at 20% of the cost - self-hostable.
